The Year 7 Japanese and Indonesian classes have completed the basic units on their personal world and introductory culture. The majority can now say a full paragraph in their target language (top progress). Their 1st major assessment task on themselves and/or their family is due this month.

Most classes have almost completed their masks. This year’s cohort have been more creative and authentic than usual. All students will start their dictionaries this week. DO NOT FORGET TO LEARN 5 NEW WORDS AFTER EVERY LESSON AND STAY OUT OF THE DEMENTIA WARDS!!!!!!

This year the support unit classes have studied Indonesian and are doing some excellent language and cultural work.

2018 YEAR 8 SNOW TRIP

Expression of Interest forms for the snow trip have been handed out to year 8 students. For many, this will be unforgettable and their first time to experience snow. Highlights include learning to ski and exploring Mount Selwyn, excellent meals and cozy accommodation at Reynella Homestead in Adaminaby. Expression of Interest forms are available from Mr. Trenouth and are due on Friday May 25th.

Mr Trenouth’s Year 10 Geography students have recently been doing an audit of the litter at Bomaderry High School.

On the first day back of Term 2, they counted the amount of litter in each of the playground areas.

The results are shown below.

We need to work harder as a school to maintain the quality of our environment.
