Maria Eid Ceneviva

Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication and Journalism. Currently doing her Master’s degree on TESOL at the West Virginia University.

Lecturer in the “68th Annual Meeting of Mountain Interstate Foreign Language Conference” at the University of Tennessee (2018), in the 19th National – International Convention for English Teachers (2014), in the Seminar “Successful Teaching Skills in the ELT Classroom” (2013), in the EFL Teachers Seminar “Teaching and Learning English with Digital Tools and Social Media” (2012).

TITLE: The Benefits of Using Games in Second Language Learning

Games ignite the interest of people and it is a natural learning process that can contribute to a learning environment. Games benefit students’ participation in class and their skills can improve with the help of games, which can either be board games, computer games or apps, all of which are directed to language learning. It can also help teachers make easier connections between language and culture. The class environment will have a more relaxed and comfortable feeling for the students as they enjoy themselves while learning.
