TITLE: Teaching Vocabulary through Storytelling and Peer Correction

Learners feel they need to know vocabulary to communicate. Storytelling provides room to combine communicative skills, and it as well may be used to learn vocabulary. Peer correction can strengthen that learning.

In this workshop, participants will experience and reflect upon activities meant to teach specific vocabularies, such as adjectives and opposites, phrasal verbs, and idiomatical phrases related to the human body. To reinforce the learning of this vocabulary, participants will also experiment with four different suggestions to perform peer correction in the English classroom

This workshop might appeal to teachers and professors of English, as well as students of English and Linguistics.
