You will know by now if you have been to the clubhouse that the coffee morning today (Sunday) was cancelled. This was as a result of a committee meeting this morning to discuss the club response to Coronavirus. The pre-season meeting was also discussed and at this time it has been decided to postpone this for the time being, pending further guidelines for meetings and Government advice for elderly people over 70 years of age.

We continue to hope that the present situation will not interfere with our coming season and the committee will be distributing fixture books, no other cancellations are expected at the moment.

It is hoped members will pay their annual subscriptions by cheque direct to our treasurer, Gerry Stephens at Flat 18, Seaward Court, West Street, Bognor Regis, PO21 1XJ. In the unlikely event that the unthinkable happens and further Health & Safety restrictions are imposed which cause the the bowls season to be abandoned this year, your subscriptions will be refunded.

Season 2020

What a season 2020 turned out to be, just a few friendlies played against local clubs such as Maltravers, RAFA, Chichester and Pagham. Thanks to you all who took part in these games. With there being more names than spaces available Nick our esteemed captain tried to share the honors around those that did put their names down.

The high light of these friendlies was the game at Waterloo Square against Chichester which Bognor won (omen for 2021?). Captain Nick was over the moon with this result and we ended 2 - 2 against Pagham with the 5th game being called off with the ground at Swansea Gardens being water logged and the grass to short.

Remember, stay safe over the coming months and we hope to see you in 2021. Keep an eye on this site, any news that comes my way i`ll publish on this site.
