For our Programming Project we worked together in a team of five to create a robotic petting zoo, complete with five animals, using Hummingbird Kits and cardboard to build each mechanism. In our group of five teachers, we created a collaborative project for our students to complete during online learning. We as teachers will led our students in the creation of a different animal for the robotic petting zoo, and presented them together in a contest with different categories.

This is a screenshot of the coding blocks in Scratch for the petting zoo animals. Each animal has a light sensor, the eyes change color when activated, and the head and tail shake.
