Body Diary Privacy Policy

Body Diary is designed to help users privately track symptoms, journal health-related notes, view body-map history, set reminders, and create doctor-ready PDF summaries.

Data Collection
Body Diary does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to the developer. Information entered into the app, including symptom logs, journal entries, body-map selections, notes, and generated reports, is stored locally on the user’s device unless the user chooses to export or share it.

Email Addresses and Accounts
Body Diary does not require users to create an account and does not collect users’ email addresses.

Subscriptions and Payments
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. The developer does not receive or store users’ payment card information.

Health Information
Health-related information entered into Body Diary remains under the user’s control. Body Diary does not sell, rent, or use health information for advertising.

Notifications
If enabled, Body Diary may schedule local notifications and reminders on the user’s device. Notification preferences can be changed in the app or in iOS Settings.

Face ID and Device Security
If the user enables Face ID app locking, authentication is handled by Apple’s device security features. Body Diary does not receive or store biometric data.

Sharing and Exporting
Users may choose to export or share information, including PDF summaries. Once information is shared outside Body Diary, its handling is controlled by the receiving app, service, or person.

Medical Disclaimer
Body Diary is a personal tracking and journaling tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding medical concerns.

Children’s Privacy
Body Diary is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated if Body Diary’s features or data practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page.
