WHAT IS THE BOC-PROVIDENT FUND, INC.?
The Bureau of Customs Provident Fund Inc. (BOC-PFI) - Formerly known as Customs Mutual Assistance Benefit Fund Inc.
a supplementary retirement fund established by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) to augment the retirement benefits of BOC employees. It also provides additional services to members such as loans and medical assistance.
registered as a non-stock, non-profit corporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2002.
WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES OF THE FUND?
Extending of Emergency Loans For:
Education
Hospitalization
House Repair
Other similar purposes
Granting Financial Assistance to Members who died (whether natural or accident) or suffered illness or those who became victims of fire, typhoon, flood and other natural calamities.
Supplemental Financial Assistance:
Retirement Benefits
Livelihood Assistance Program.
I AM ELIGIBLE TO BECOME A MEMBER?
All BOC employees who receive salaries from BOC’s General Appropriations Fund are eligible for membership.
If you are unsure if you can become a member, simply inquire with a BOC Provident Fund office near you to assist you on your membership inquiry.
WHAT BENEFITS DO I GET AS A MEMBER OF BOC PROVIDENT FUND?
All BOC Provident Fund Inc. members are entitled to receive the following:
Access to BOC Provident Fund’s Loan Products.
Financial and Medical Assistance.
Death and Burial Assistance.
