We Boating Logs Limited operate the BoatLog mobile application, available on Android and iOS platforms. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. 

1. Information We Collect 

We may collect and store the following data when you use BoatLog: 

• Personal Information: Name, email address, and phone number. 

• Location Data: Real-time location information to track boat movement and display it on the map. 

• Media Files: Photos related to your boat, maintenance records, or other uploads. 

• Account Details: Email and password for authentication and password recovery. 

2. How We Use the Information 

We use your data to: 

• Provide and maintain core features of BoatLog. 

• Enable location-based services and boat tracking. 

• Generate and download PDF reports related to trips or maintenance. 

• Manage your account and support password recovery. 

• Improve the App and enhance user experience. 

• Communicate with you for support or updates. 

3. Third-Party Services 

BoatLog uses Google Maps for displaying maps and tracking locations. Please review Google’s Privacy Policy for more details on how Google handles your information. 

4. Account and Data Deletion 

You can delete your account anytime from the Profile section by tapping the delete icon. Once deleted, your data will be permanently removed from our servers. 

5. Data Security 

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no online or mobile transmission is completely secure. 

6. PDF Generation and Storage 

When you download a PDF using the BoatLog App, the file is saved locally on your mobile device. We do not store or access these files on our servers. 

7. Changes to This Policy 

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be available within the App and will include a revised “Last updated” date.
