Welcome to **AI Board Game Card Generator**. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy outlines what data our application ("App") collects, how it collects that data, all uses of that data, and the specific third parties we share it with.

## 1. What Data We Collect
We intentionally limit the data we collect to the absolute minimum required for the App to function.
* **User Input Data:** We collect the specific text descriptions (prompts) you manually type into the App to generate a board game card.
* **We DO NOT collect:** Your name, email address, device identifiers (IDFA), location, contacts, or any personally identifiable information (PII). We do not read, scan, upload, or modify any existing photos in your device's Photo Library.
## 2. How We Collect That Data
* **Direct User Input:** The text prompts are collected exclusively when you actively type them into the text box and tap the "Generate" button. We do not collect any data in the background.
## 3. All Uses of That Data
The text prompts you provide are used for exactly one purpose:
* **Image Generation:** To translate your creative text description into a custom, photorealistic board game card image using Artificial Intelligence. We do not use your data for targeted advertising or user profiling.
## 4. Third-Party Data Sharing and AI Services
To provide the core functionality of AI generation, we must transmit the text prompts you enter to third-party Artificial Intelligence service providers.
**Who we send the data to:**
1. **OpenAI, L.L.C.:** We send your text prompts to OpenAI to enhance and optimize the description for better image generation results.
2. **Replicate, Inc. / Black Forest Labs:** We send the optimized text prompt to these image generation API providers to render the actual board game card artwork.
**Third-Party Protections:**
We confirm that the third-party AI services (OpenAI and Replicate) we share your data with provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy. They process the prompts strictly to return the requested generated image and are bound by their respective strict enterprise privacy and data processing agreements.
## 5. User Permission Before Sending Data
In strict compliance with App Store Guidelines 5.1.1(i) and 5.1.2(i), **we explicitly obtain your permission before sending any data to these third-party AI services**. Upon opening the App or before your first generation, you are presented with a clear disclosure stating what data is sent (your text prompt) and who it is sent to (OpenAI and Replicate). Data is only transmitted if you explicitly tap "I Agree & Continue".
## 6. Photo Library Access
If you choose to save a generated card to your device, the App will request permission to add photos to your Photo Library.
* **Data Use:** This permission is used **solely** to save the final generated image.
* We do not have read access to your camera roll. We cannot and do not scan, upload, or view your existing personal photos.
## 7. Data Retention and Deletion
Since we do not require user accounts and do not store personally identifiable information, we do not maintain databases of your historical prompts. The text data is processed ephemerally by our AI partners to return the image and is not retained by us.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
