Department Overview

The university department of Physics started its journey on April 30, 1997 in the premises of the university headquarters. Prof R. K. P. Yadav was appointed as the first Head of the Department of Physics. Department of Physics offers two year M.Sc. and Ph.D. program. The faculties of the Department are actively engaged in different areas of research viz. Atmospheric Physics, Crystallography and Laser Physics, Electronics, Renewable Energy and High Energy Particle Physics.
