The Biomedical Molecular Engineering Laboratory designs and constructs biopharmaceutical platforms and applies them to both understand the molecular biological pathogenesis of various diseases such as cancer and inflammatory diseases and develop therapeutic strategies for them.
The lab is currently developing its own therapeutic platforms including CRISPR Self Check-In, mRNA Bridge Mimetics, EpiActivator, and EpiRepressor for curing diseases. We are currently very interested in developing biotherapuetics for treatment of various degenerative diseases.
