Privacy Policy
Last Revised: 2026-09-30
Applies to: Blue VPN ("App", "we", "us", "our")
This Privacy Policy explains how Blue VPN handles information when you use the App and its related services. By using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the App.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to Blue VPN's VPN connection features, free and VIP server nodes, app bypass feature, feedback and support features, subscription features, settings, language options, and related services.
2. Information We Process
VPN and server information
When you use the VPN, the App processes the technical information needed to establish, maintain, and report a connection. This can include connection status, selected or attempted server node, protocol and configuration information, connection times, connection result, and latency or connectivity checks. Free users may have a daily connection-time limit. VIP status and subscription information are used to determine access to VIP nodes and unlimited connection time.
We do not inspect, record, sell, or share the content of your VPN traffic, browsing history, DNS queries, or the websites and apps you access through the VPN.
Device and app information
We may process basic device, operating-system, and application information, including app version, package name, Android version, device model, language, time zone, network type, and stable app or device identifiers. These details are used to provide the service, authenticate requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and understand technical compatibility.
Network and public IP information
The App or its service providers may process public IP address and related network information, such as country, city, autonomous system, or Internet service provider. This information can be used to verify connectivity, determine regional service availability, support connection reports, and improve service quality.
Account and subscription information
If account or subscription features are available, we may process identifiers, authentication information, subscription status, purchase-related status, and entitlement information needed to provide the requested features. Payments are handled by the relevant app store or payment provider; we do not receive your full payment card number.
App bypass information
If you use App bypass, the App processes the package names of the apps you choose to exclude from the VPN tunnel. This selection is stored on your device and is used when the VPN configuration is created. The App may query installed apps that provide a launcher entry in order to let you make this selection. We do not collect the contents of those apps.
Feedback and support information
If you submit feedback, we process the problem type, description, the contact information you provide, and any images that you explicitly select for upload. Selected images are read from the provided content URI, compressed and converted to JPEG/Base64 data for submission, and are not scanned for unrelated content. We use this information to investigate problems and respond to you.
Analytics, diagnostics, and crash information
We may use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Yandex Varioqub, and similar service providers to process events, remote configuration data, crash reports, performance data, and technical diagnostics. These services may receive identifiers and device or app information as described by their own privacy policies.
We do not knowingly collect:
* Your browsing history or DNS history
* The content of websites, messages, files, or apps used through the VPN
* Photos, contacts, or local files unless you explicitly select an image for feedback
* The full content of your VPN traffic
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
* Establish, maintain, and stop VPN connections
* Load, display, and manage free and VIP server nodes
* Apply daily free-use limits and subscription entitlements
* Verify connection results and provide connection reports
* Apply the app bypass selections you make
* Provide feedback, support, and troubleshooting
* Improve app stability, performance, security, and service quality
* Detect abuse, fraud, or misuse
* Deliver remote configuration, language settings, and service notices
* Comply with applicable legal obligations
4. VPN Traffic and No Browsing History
Blue VPN uses Android's VPN permission to create a local VPN tunnel. The VPN service routes network traffic according to the selected configuration, but Blue VPN does not inspect, store, sell, or share the content of that traffic or a history of the destinations you visit. Network and connection metadata may still be processed when necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the App, including VPN infrastructure providers, hosting and networking providers, Firebase services, Yandex services, crash and analytics providers, public-IP or network diagnostic providers, and customer-support systems. They may process information only as needed to provide services to us and under their applicable terms and privacy policies.
We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the App, or our service.
6. Permissions We Request
VPN permission
Required to create and manage the VPN tunnel. The connection starts only after you approve Android's VPN permission request.
Notifications
Android notification permission may be requested so the VPN foreground service can show connection status and service notifications. Declining notifications does not by itself grant VPN permission or prevent the App from requesting it.
Network access
Required to connect to server nodes, retrieve configuration and remote settings, verify connectivity, submit feedback, and provide support features.
Installed-app and content access
The App may query launcher applications for App bypass selection. It accesses an image only when you explicitly choose it in the feedback form through Android's system picker.
7. Local Storage and Retention
The App stores certain settings and operational data locally on your device using Android's application storage, including language preference, selected App bypass package names, stable request identifiers, cached account or subscription state, and free-use timing data. This data is used for the features described in this Policy and is removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall the App, subject to Android behavior.
We retain service, feedback, diagnostic, and support information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, improve the service, or comply with legal obligations. Third-party providers may retain data according to their own policies.
8. Your Choices
You can:
* Start or stop VPN processing by connecting or disconnecting
* Revoke VPN permission or remove the VPN profile in Android settings
* Disable optional notifications in Android settings
* Reset or limit the Google Advertising ID in Android settings where supported
* Change or remove App bypass selections
* Choose whether to attach images in feedback; contact information is required when submitting feedback
* Clear the App's data or uninstall the App to remove locally stored settings
* Contact us with privacy questions or requests
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by the App and our services. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Transfers
Information may be processed in countries or regions different from where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
The App may open or interact with third-party services, including Google Play, email applications, browser applications, Firebase, Yandex, network providers, and external policy pages. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third parties.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Revised" date above. Your continued use of the App after an update means that you accept the revised Policy.
