Blote Notes Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This privacy policy explains what information the Blote Notes app ("the app", "we") collects and how it is used. The app is available for Android and iOS.
At a glance
Your games and scores stay on your device.
No account, no name, no email, no location.
Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports help us improve the app.
No ads, no advertising ID, and your data is never sold.
Your game data stays on your device
Games, team names and scores you enter are stored only on your device. We do not have access to them, and they are not sent to us or to anyone else. On Android, this data may be included in your device's own backup to your Google account if you have backup turned on.
The app does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or location.
Information collected automatically
To understand which features are used and to fix problems, the app uses two services provided by Google LLC.
Firebase Analytics collects
App interactions, for example which screens are opened and which features are used (such as entering a round with smart score)
A random app instance identifier, used to count unique users
Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, language and approximate country (derived from your IP address; the IP address itself is not stored)
Firebase Crashlytics collects, when the app crashes
The crash report (which part of the app failed)
Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version and app version
A random installation identifier
This information is not linked to your identity, is not used for advertising, and is not sold. The app does not use the advertising ID and does not show ads.
How the information is used
To see how many people use the app and its features
To find and fix crashes and errors
To decide what to improve next
Sharing
The information above is processed by Google as our service provider, under Google's privacy policy. Google is bound by the Firebase data processing terms and protects this information at least to the standard described in this policy. We do not share it with anyone else.
How the information is protected
All information sent by the app is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. It is stored on Google's secure servers, and access to the Firebase project is limited to the developer, protected by a Google account with two-step verification.
How long it is kept
Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. After that, they are deleted automatically.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
You can stop all data collection at any time by uninstalling the app.
