Cash and EXP are next. Cash is used just like in the game. You spend cash to purchase upgrades and new tower abilities. To simplify it for myself in game, I used the same prices as those of the game itself on medium difficulty. You earn cash for popping bloons, or as quest rewards, or maybe just finding it in a chest somewhere. There is no real guideline for reward and found cash except for what your chosen DM thinks is right. For popping bloons, I reccomend using the in game values once again, though with my own party, I have doubled this value for the sake of faster progress, and gave out additional rewards if I thought the pace was getting too slow. EXP is earned differently. Similarly to SWN, you earn it on a session by session basis, depending on what you accomplished that day. For a session that accomplishes little, 1 exp is usually called for. If the party accomplishes a minor goal, or makes progress on a major goal, 2 exp is warranted, and this is usually the reward that is given for our average session. 3 exp is given out only in the case where the party is capable of accomplishing major goals they set out.

Reason is your monkey's learned knowledge, and is the stat of the magical wizard, the cool ice monkey and the curious alchemist. It is also used to make skillchecks related to a monkey's intelligence or perception, such as being able to decypher bloonian hieroglyphics or sensing hidden bloons!

Handling is your monkey's familiarity with machinery and technology. It is the stat of the monkey aces, submarines, buccaneers, mortar operators and dartling gunners of the bloons world. It is also useful for operating heavy machinery or repairing it.

When doing a simple attack, you will simply have to make a hit check against your relevant attack skill (remember, try to roll UNDER your skill). If you hit, splendid! You may do damage in accordance with the weapon and tower you're using as per your DM. If firing a simple dart, you may pop a red, if firing something like a dartling gunner, you'll pop a lot of bloons in a single salvo, if you're firing a dartling gun with faster barrel spin, you might be entitled to roll twice for two salvos! Once everyone on the team has moved, it's time for the bloons to attack! Unfortunately for bloons, their primary method of attack usually involves their own demise. Bloons attack works different than for monkeys, first, they have to be able to clear the distance between themselves and the monkeys, usually giving the party atleast a few turn of sustained attack. Once they arrive, they must attempt to hit the monkeys with their own body, sacrificing themselves in the process. A red bloon is equivalent to 1 life, taking a moab to the face... that's a lot worse and might warrant your monkeys taking maluses to their vitality roll for survival... or simply deducting additional vitality points when they fail. Fortunately, Monkeys are not completely defenseless in combat! Chimps are agile, and everytime you are to be attacked by a bloon, your dexterity can come in handy to save yourself the damage! And if you do manage to dodge an attack, the bloon will sacrifice itself in the attempt, destroying itself completely! This is a great way of getting rid of higher tier balloons, but it's also very risky! Because bigger and faster bloons are harder to dodge, and your DM might impose a malus on the dodge roll.

ok riddle me this, why do white bloons still exist? the different bloon types in game exist to force diversity in a players strategy, purples are immune to plasma, used by a variety of towers, blacks immune to explosive (again a fairly common damage type) and white bloons are immune to frost damage, yknow, the damage type thats beem EXCLUSIVE TO ICE TOWER SINCE THE DAY IT WAS INTRODUCED

past that nothing has even come close, no alchemist path or druid path or anything else, theres not even a single new 5th tier or bottom path that can freeze bloons. (btw can we please get viral frost back kthx)

Bloons is a video game franchise developed by Ninja Kiwi. The games involve players using monkeys, armed with various tools, to pop as many "bloons" (balloons) as possible. They include the Bloons series, the Bloons Tower Defense series, and several other spin-offs. Most of the earlier Bloons games are browser-based games that use Adobe Flash Player, although some are available on other platforms. Mobile games based on the Bloons series are distributed through the App Store, Google Play, and some through Steam. Games made by Ninja Kiwi older than Bloons TD 6 are available through the Ninja Kiwi Archive on Steam.

The objective of the game is to move a super monkey that shoots a stream of darts to pop bloons.[11] Popping them gives the player power blops, which are used to buy upgrades. If the monkey fails to pop the required amount of bloons for a certain level, the game is over. The super monkey wields weapons, which can be upgraded or replaced with a different weapon.

The Bloons TD series is a series of tower defense games, taking elements of the original Bloons game into a tower defense style. Throughout all games, the main goal is to pop as many bloons with towers as possible while preventing the floating bloons from reaching the exit. In these games, most of them are single-player, supported mostly by pre-determined rounds. Because of how popular this game series is, a number of additional spin-off games in the series were created.

The first game of the Bloons TD series, Bloons Tower Defense, borrows existing elements of the original Bloons games into a tower defense, starting off with relatively simple game mechanics. Every new Bloons TD sequel introduces a number of new tower types along with their upgrades, new and bigger bloons enemies, as well as new tracks. Difficulty modifiers have been added since the third game of the series, Bloons TD 3. Many additional features have been added since Bloons TD 4, with unlockable towers and upgrades, as well as new game modes and special challenges.

Since the success of Bloons TD 6, which debuted on June 13th 2018, the Bloons TD 6 Generation has bloomed to introduce a wide variety of family-friendly elements and characterization. Both Bloons TD 6 and Bloons Adventure Time TD were announced prior to release, and after the merge to Modern Times Group, subsequent games have been released with added twists to both original gameplay and modern mobile gaming. Bloons Pop! is a puzzle game where monkeys throw shots at bloons and win by completing pop goals. Bloons TD Battles 2, the sequel to Bloons TD Battles Mobile, implements player-versus-player gameplay in combination with elements from BTD6 and existing player-versus-player games such as Clash Royale.

Spiked Balls is the 3rd upgrade of Path 1 for the Spike Factory in Bloons TD 6. Like Spiked Ball Factory, its corresponding upgrade in BTD5, the Spiked Balls upgrade replaces standard spike piles with spiked balls. Each spiked ball pops up to 12 bloons, each spike additionally dealing 2 damage to all bloons, as well as +3 damage to Ceramics and +1 damage to all Fortified Bloons, including MOAB-class with the Fortified property.

The “bloons” are escaping! Stop them by setting up towers to pop them before they get away. Choose your track and unlock different items and monkeys from the shop on the right. The prices of the items change depending on the difficulty set at the beginning. Upgrade your items or sell them back.

BLOONS TOWER DEFENSE 3 TIPS & TRICKS

Bloons Tower Defense 3 can be tricky to navigate at first, especially for beginners. Not to worry though, we have a few tricks up our sleeve to help you. Read on to learn 4 basic strategies.

Prepare for tougher balloons

In the beginning, you’ll only see red balloons fly by. Those only take one hit to pop. As you advance, you’ll start to see different colored and faster balloons coming down the track. These balloons will take more than one hit to pop - and as you hit them, they’ll spawn more balloons! Hitting a blue balloon will spawn a red, a green balloon will spawn blue, yellow will spawn green, and so on. It’s best to upgrade your line of defense when faced with these bigger balloons. Watch out for rainbow balloons! Those are the toughest to pop.

Continue to upgrade

Each tower or monkey will have a few upgrades you can tack on as you play. Use upgrades to help boost your towers and increase their value. You’ll be able to sell them down the line to make more powerful defenses.

Spikes, Glue, & Pineapples

These items are best saved if you’re ever overwhelmed with balloons. These tools only last for one round, so once you’ve popped all the balloons, they’ll disappear. It’s a good idea to use these to take out any balloons your towers may have missed once the round has started.

Stay on track

What works best on one track may not work best on the others. Try planning different tower combos and setups as you take on the different playing fields.
" } } , { "@type":"Question
What is the best monkey for MOABs?
@type":"Answer
Super Monkeys are the best bet for stopping MOABs when they spawn into the game. A new Beginner track has been added to BTD5! Brick Wall has a long path that forces the bloons to double back on themselves before leaving the way they came in.

On top of that, the Daily Challenges from November have been added to the Daily Challenge vault. Test yourself against the various restrictions and earn Monkey Money from each one.
