My name is Allison! I currently live in Michigan, where I am going to school for my master's in environmental science. I grew up on  the West coast, where things are far dryer and hotter than they are here in the midwest. I get asked a lot why I chose to come here from the place I was born and raised, and the story is a pretty long one. My parents are teachers, and so there has always been a strong focus on learning and education
