PRIVACY POLICY FOR BLOOKET HACKER EXTENSION
Last Updated: August 24, 2026
1. INTRODUCTION & OVERVIEW
This Privacy Policy governs the use of the "Blooket Hacker" browser extension (referred to as "the Extension", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to safeguarding user privacy. Blooket Hacker operates entirely on your local device as a client-side gaming companion and study utility.
2. ZERO PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION
• We DO NOT collect, harvest, track, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).
• We DO NOT collect names, email addresses, passwords, IP addresses, browsing histories, or hardware identifiers.
• We DO NOT use external analytics, telemetry servers, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising trackers.
3. PERMISSIONS & WHY WE NEED THEM
The Extension requests specific browser permissions strictly to provide core in-game functionality:
a) "storage" Permission:
- Purpose: Stores your customized extension settings (such as click delay, enabled presets, UI theme, and in-game HUD coordinates).
- Local Question Database: Automatically saves quiz questions and correct answers that you encounter during gameplay so the extension can recognize them in future games.
- Storage Location: All data is saved exclusively inside your browser's local sandbox (`chrome.storage.local`). It NEVER leaves your computer and is never sent to any external server.
b) Host Permissions ("*://*.blooket.com/*") & Content Scripts:
- Purpose: Allows the extension to interact with Blooket game pages (`play.blooket.com`) to detect question elements, render the floating draggable HUD menu, apply glowing answer highlights, and display ESP indicators (such as Gold Quest chest contents or Crypto Hack passwords).
- Scope: The extension only runs on Blooket domain pages and has no access to any other websites you visit.
c) "activeTab" & "scripting" Permissions (if enabled):
- Purpose: Used solely to verify if the active browser tab is running a Blooket game session and to mount the in-game HUD overlay when requested.
4. DATA SHARING & THIRD PARTIES
• We do not sell, rent, lease, or transfer any user data to third parties.
• We do not partner with data brokers, ad networks, or analytics providers.
• The Extension strictly complies with Google Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including the Single Purpose and Limited Use Requirements.
5. USER CONTROL & DATA DELETION
You retain complete control over all data saved by the extension:
• Clear Database: You can instantly erase all stored questions and answers by clicking "Clear Memory" in the extension popup or in the in-game HUD.
• Reset Settings: You can restore factory defaults at any time.
• Uninstalling: Removing the extension from your browser (`chrome://extensions/`) immediately and permanently deletes all stored data and configuration files.
6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA COMPLIANCE)
Because Blooket is widely used in educational environments, we ensure strict compliance with children's privacy standards. The Extension does not collect, request, or store any personal information from any user, including children under the age of 13.
7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect extension updates. Any modifications will be posted with an updated revision date.
