2. REQUESTED PERMISSIONS & FULL JUSTIFICATION

Blooket Hacker requests only TWO minimal items:
1. Permission: "storage"
Why is it needed?
This permission enables the browser's built-in chrome.storage.local API. It is used exclusively to remember your chosen options across browser sessions, including:
- Assistant active toggle (true/false)
- Operating mode ("highlight" or "autoclick")
- Configured answer delay (e.g., 1200ms)
- Random jitter preference (true/false)
- Floating HUD visibility
- Local question counter stat
All data remains exclusively inside your browser's private local storage partition on your own device.
2. Host Permission: "https://*.blooket.com/*"
Why is it needed?
This host permission restricts extension scripts to run ONLY on official Blooket domains (such as play.blooket.com and dashboard.blooket.com). It allows the content script to detect question elements on the screen, display the on-screen assistant HUD, and apply the visual glowing highlight to answer choices. The extension has zero access to any other website you visit.

3. ARE ALL THESE PERMISSIONS STRICTLY NECESSARY? (MINIMAL PERMISSIONS ANALYSIS)

Yes. Blooket Hacker uses the absolute minimal permission model possible for Manifest V3:
• Why "storage"?
Without "storage", every time you closed your browser or reloaded Blooket, your customized delay speed, HUD preferences, and chosen mode would reset to defaults, making the extension inconvenient to use.
• Why strictly scoped "https://*.blooket.com/*"?
Rather than requesting broad access like "<all_urls>" or "*://*/*" (which many poorly designed extensions request and which CWS flags as high risk), Blooket Hacker scopes its execution exclusively to Blooket domains. It is completely inactive on all other websites.
• Did we eliminate unnecessary permissions?
YES! We deliberately excluded:
- NO "activeTab" (redundant when host_permissions is declared, avoiding permission bloat).
- NO "tabs" (not needed because opening tabs does not require elevated tabs privileges).
- NO "scripting" (content scripts are statically declared in the manifest).
- NO "cookies" (we never inspect or touch cookies or session tokens).
- NO "webRequest" (we do not intercept or manipulate network traffic).
- NO "background" network access (zero external API calls).
This represents the cleanest, most compliant permission architecture possible under Google Chrome Web Store policies.

4. DATA RETENTION & SECURITY
