Since 2021, I have made casual games to improve my coding skill using Unity. There are 9 casual games so far(you can check on my website), and this time I wanted to try Godot. I just think using differnet tool and language is gonna broaden my horizons in game developing.
In my memory, I have played some kind of game about stacking up the objects falling from the sky. Specifically hamburger. So I tried to google to see what it was but I think it was just mixed concept from other games that I've played in childhood. So I decided to make my own thing! (Been thinking about this theme a while ago but haven't actually started hah but I have time after graduate so...)
So like I said, it's gonna be a game that you have to stack up the objects falling from the sky. If you miss one single thing then it's game over. I think it's gonna be just easy and simple, just keep stacking up and get high score.
Game art was like this(first image) when I first thought of this concept. Since it's gonna be just hyper casual game, I didn't draw that much. But then I drew new design(second image). Cause well... THAT wasn't enough. (feel like my drawing for game is improving)
Haven't thought of writing devlog until now, I was just so newbie focusing on learning new things only. Since now I'm gonna start writing devlog and try to make video footage too.
I've already implemented some functions but to write devlog I wrote this introdcution too like I actually wrote at that time planning on this game. Well.. so the title was "save the burger" but gameplay slightly changed so had to name like "serve the burger". Anyway, let's get started!
