# Privacy Policy for Block Smash
**Last updated: [20.08.2026]**
This Privacy Policy explains how Block Smash ("the app," "we," "us") handles information when you play.
## Summary
Block Smash does not require an account, does not collect your name, email, or any personal contact information, and does not sell your data. The app stores your game progress on your own device. The only outside service the app uses is Google's advertising network, to show ads.
## Information Stored on Your Device
To save your progress between sessions, the app stores the following locally on your device (not on our servers — we do not operate any servers):
- Your best score and current run in progress
- Coins, boosters, and owned skins
- Sound, music, and accessibility (reduced motion) settings
This data stays on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it. We have no access to it and no way to retrieve it.
## Advertising
Block Smash shows ads (banner ads and optional "watch an ad to continue" video ads) served by Google's Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob).
To serve ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process information such as:
- Advertising identifiers (e.g., your device's IDFA on iOS)
- General device and app usage information
- Approximate location derived from IP address
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us directly, and is subject to [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy) and [How Google uses information from sites or apps that use their services](https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). Ads currently served in the app are non-personalized by default.
You can reset your device's advertising identifier or limit ad tracking at any time in your device's system settings.
## Children's Privacy
Block Smash is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details below and we will address it.
## Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. The only data sharing that occurs is the advertising data described above, which goes to Google as our ad-serving provider.
## Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored game data persists until you uninstall the app or clear the app's data through your device's settings. Since we do not operate servers and do not store this data ourselves, there is nothing on our end to delete — removing the app removes it.
## Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app changes — for example, if we add new features that use data differently. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.

*This document describes what Block Smash actually does as of the date above. It is a plain-language policy, not a substitute for legal advice — if you want a lawyer to review or formalize it, this is a solid starting draft for that review.*
