❓ How does BlockerPlus work?
BlockerPlus uses advanced on-device technology to help you overcome digital addictions and stay focused. By utilizing a local VPN and Screen Time controls (or Accessibility Services), the app detects and blocks inappropriate content, adult websites, and specific distracting apps across your device to help you maintain your streak.
💰 Do I need a subscription to use the app?
BlockerPlus offers a 3-day free trial so you can experience the full protection of the app. To access advanced features like Prevent Uninstallation, Accountability Partner integration, and Strict Mode blocking, a premium subscription (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime) is required after the trial.
🔧 What if the blocker isn't working?
If BlockerPlus is not blocking content as expected, try the following:
Check Permissions: Ensure you have granted all required permissions (VPN, Screen Time/Accessibility, and Notifications).
Toggle the Shield: Go to the home screen and ensure the main Blocker button is showing as "Connected."
Strict Mode: If standard blocking isn't enough, enable "Strict Mode" to filter content more aggressively.
Restart: Close and reopen the app to ensure the latest blocklists are loaded.
⚠️ I can't uninstall the app. What should I do?
This is a feature, not a bug! If you enabled "Prevent Uninstall" in the Advanced Features menu, the app is designed to stop you from deleting it during a moment of weakness.
To uninstall, you must open the app, go to Advanced Features, and toggle OFF "Prevent Uninstall."
Note: If you have an Accountability Partner set up, you may need to wait for a PIN or type a delay sentence to disable this.
