Ciara Walton

I wanted to participate in this exhibit, being that its my first time and a great opportunity. I really admired having a exhibit to showcase African American artists and artwork that deals with the many issues of our country. I create art because its my passion and what drives me to grow and prosper as an artist and person. Art is a form of my expression of emotions ,and thoughts that I sometimes cannot communicate with words. I created these pieces to showcase the beauty but also struggle that African Americans have to experience on a daily.
