Il progetto Blind Ride prende vita nel 2019. Nel 2020 il loro primo lavoro “Too Fast for a Sick Dog”, un EP di Hardcore Punk con influenze noise, garage e post punk, viene pubblicato in collaborazione con “Mastice Prod.” L’album ottiene ottimi riscontri sia dalla critica specializzata, sia dal circuito delle fanzine.

Successivamente la band comincia ad esplorare territori stilistici animati da sonorità differenti, componendo il loro primo Full lenght, “Paranoid-Critical Method” registrato presso “Lo Studio Spaziale” di Roberto Rettura a Bologna.

Nell’estate 2022 la band entra nel roster di Overdub Recordings e sigla un contratto di booking e distribuzione con “Stock-a Production”. Anticipato dai singoli “Surrogate of a Dream” e "Realationship Goals" il 10 febbraio viene rilasciato il loro nuovo album "Paranoid-Critical Method", via Overdub Recordings/Stock-a Production.

The Blind Ride project comes to life in 2019. In 2020 their first work "Too Fast for a Sick Dog," a Hardcore Punk EP with noise, garage and post punk influences, is released in collaboration with "Mastic Prod." The album gets excellent feedback from both specialized critics and the fanzine circuit.

Subsequently, the band begins to explore stylistic territories animated by different sounds, composing their first full-length, "Paranoid-Critical Method" recorded at Roberto Rettura's "Lo Studio Spaziale" in Bologna.

In summer 2022 the band joined the roster of Overdub Recordings and signed a booking and distribution contract with "Stock-a Production." Preceded by the singles "Surrogate of a Dream" and "Realationship Goals" their new album "Paranoid-Critical Method" is released on February 10, via Overdub Recordings/Stock-a Production.

BLIND RIDE - "PARANOID-CRITICAL METHOD"

"Paranoid – Critical Method è il processo di creazione ideato da Salvador Dalì, incentrato sulla trasformazione in linguaggio artistico di ciò che deriva dai più o meno inconsci turbamenti della psiche. Concetto nel quale abbiamo ritrovato molto del nostro modo di approcciarci alla scrittura. Disillusione, delusione e disincanto sono le tematiche alla base dell’album, trattate con sarcasmo e lucidità, ed espresse attraverso un sound che alterna momenti aggressivi e dissonanti, con altri malinconici e cupi. Per quanto ci sia ben poco di rassicurante in questo lavoro, nulla è perduto: la musica rappresenta il mezzo perfetto attraverso cui resistere e fuggire verso un’esistenza migliore."

"Paranoid - Critical Method is the process of creation devised by Salvador Dali, focused on the transformation into artistic language of what comes from the more or less unconscious disturbances of the psyche. Concept in which we found much of our own way of approaching writing. Disillusionment, disappointment and disillusionment are the underlying themes of the album, treated with sarcasm and lucidity, and expressed through a sound that alternates aggressive and dissonant moments with others melancholic and somber. As little as there is reassurance in this work, nothing is lost: music represents the perfect medium through which to resist and escape to a better existence."

Relationship Goals nasce dall’intenzione di raccontare quanto di malsano, spesso, possiamo trovare nelle relazioni amorose: gelosia, opportunismo e paura della solitudine. L’amore diventa così una maschera dietro la quale si cela l’Ipocrisia della società, che inevitabilmente viene proiettata su due individui che faticano a trovare il loro posto nel mondo.

Relationship Goals was written with the aim to tell how much sickness we often can find into love affairs: jealousy, opportunism and fear of being alone. Love becomes such a mask where the hipocrisy of society hides itself and unavoidably gets projected on two indivuals who can’t find their spot in the world.
