Mrs. Wenndy Pray graduated from the University of Texas – Pan American with a double major in English and Spanish and received a graduate degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State University. She has taught English Language Arts in middle school, where she was awarded Teacher of the Year. She has also taught English Language Arts (regular, GT, and Pre-AP), Practical Writing, and College Transition at the high school level. She has been an educator since 2008.
Mrs. Pray is proud to be a member of the mighty Rattler administrative team and is excited to collaborate, encourage, and serve as a resource to B. L. Gray students and faculty. She strongly believes that personal connections to any content or discipline strengthen the learning experience, and it is her goal to find these connections and facilitate student growth. She encourages readers with the ever-present mentality that they are tomorrow's citizens - tomorrow's world.
Mrs. Pray is a member of the Texas Library Association and the American Library Association. She has also contributed publications to the Texas Association of School Librarians blog and the Texas Library Journal.
