Old Town Saginaw comes with a deeply rooted culture, hidden gems. Today I met with Michigan’s newest one. Question mark nails, owned and operated by Spencer Wehner in Free Spirit Spa, services custom nail art.

Since the summer of 2024, Spencer has continued to produce successful work concluding in highly satisfied clients. However, Spencer has been crafting her whole life. From doing her own nails, Spencer has crafted a gift worth sharing. 

After graduating high school, Spencer took her aspirations head on. In 2020, Spencer graduated with her Bachelors in Art. Following, she completed her apprenticeship to become a Nail Artist. Growing up in Saginaw, Michigan she decided to service her business from Old Town Saginaw’s Free Spirit Spa. 

Spencer offered me to join her for a cup of coffee, or lemonade in my case, and share her story. We collaborated in The Redeye where the environment welcomed new ideas and new collaborations.
