Maybe there was a lack of training that left you, the client, at a disadvantage to receiving the hair care you deserve. Carlita Loose explains her dedication to being a stylist includes her passion to specialize in budget-friendly color and curl care. Carlita states, “there is a lack of education around curls which prevents a large demographic from having their hair goals met.” Furthermore, Carlita describes hair care as a community need with a strong focus in showing women their individualized beauty.

Carlita shares she is, “not in the business of making women beautiful.” Explaining, “they come to me that way.” Whether that is through her Michigan weddings, other events, or Mid-Michigan salon, Carlita offers individualized services for all her clients. 

Early on in her career, Carlita worked to curate individualized care. A client who struggled with hair growth along with hair loss reached out to Carlita. Many appointments later, she and her client removed build up, kept their scalp clean, and oil production remained regulated.  With only a few months of working together, keeping this client’s curls healthy and moisturized, Carlita reinforced the beauty within the struggle.
