LIMITATIONS TO IMMORTALITY :
ABRAHAM CAN STILL DIE, HE IS NOT ENTIRELY IMMUNE TO DEATH. however, it is extremely difficult to kill him. please keep in mind that your character should not and is not likely going to know how to permanently end his life, especially not when abraham doesn’t even know if what he assumes will do the trick is true or not. unless your character is all - knowing, do not make them know how to kill him. actually, even if a character is all knowing, please don’t make them know anything about killing him. i would much rather have things like that EXTENSIVELY PLOTTED beforehand as there are a very few areas / moments in his life where he is reckless enough to let people know about him, his physical weaknesses, or that he’s immortal in the first place. any chance of that was left behind him many decades ago and has since changed in current day.
BUT, IN THE SPIRIT OF THINGS.
he can die if someone decapitates him or if someone rips his heart from his chest because while his body can regenerate almost everything in most other circumstances, he is not capable of regenerating a vital organ(s) from scratch. NOTE: this is much different from instances where his heart (or other organ) is damaged after a traumatic event. because his heart is still inside of his chest, he is able to heal and repair it, but he cannot regenerate new organ for him from scratch if said organ is taken out of his body.
→ if he is decapitated, he dies pretty immediately. there isn’t something there trying to convince his body to heal and protect himself. he dies the moment it happens.
→ if his heart is ripped from his body, then abraham doesn’t die right away. instead he suffers for a good 2 or 3 minutes because his body is so used to healing itself that it will try and do so. it will close the wound some of the way but not completely and eventually his body will notice that something vital is missing and begin shutting down. all energy will have gone to trying to keep himself alive like his body is used to so he will not be able to speak during any of this, which means there are no goodbyes or final wishes.
the colt and the first blade can also kill him since he is a supernatural being.
