Omega-1 entered the site posing as a routine auditing team. Captain Justice split the group into dual leads—FTL Preliminary and Operative Blackwood—to independently trace routing inconsistencies and interview junior command personnel.

Blackwood isolated an unauthorized relay pattern matching fragments of encryption last seen during Operation Chaos Forge. Logs indicated Vey had accessed this channel from an off-grid communications node embedded within the substructure.

Preliminary, meanwhile, uncovered a series of falsified recovery reports involving two minor anomalies last presumed lost. Both had, in fact, been traded through black-market circuits linked to known insurgency affiliates.

Blackwood and Preliminary reconvened and made their findings known to Captain Justice. A tactical decision was made to proceed with command removal under sealed authority.

3. Confrontation

Vey was located in the private command lounge of Sublevel Seven. Confrontation was recorded in full. Operative Gavel read the official charges while FTL Preliminary moved to block all exits. Blackwood conducted the detainment.

Vey did not resist. He reportedly said,

"You're early. I had three more moves to make."

The Director’s clearance was stripped, and his private terminal was seized.
