Blacktop: Scratch Map — Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 15, 2026
Blacktop: Scratch Map ("the App") is developed by LintThief. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.
Data We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All scratch progress, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Microphone
The App offers an optional "blow to clear dust" feature that uses your device's microphone. When enabled, the microphone listens only for loudness levels while the App is in the foreground. Audio is analyzed in memory only — no audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted. On some devices, a temporary file may be created briefly as part of the detection process and is deleted immediately. The feature is off by default and can be turned off at any time. When the App is minimized or closed, the microphone is released.
Advertising
The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), IP address, and general location (derived from IP) to provide ads. This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. Learn more at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Google > Ads.
Internet
The App requires an internet connection solely for loading advertisements. No personal data is sent to our servers because we do not operate any servers.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Third-Party Services

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
