INSPIRATION

Cuba’s stunning beaches have always held a special, healing magic for my husband and me. There is something deeply restorative about the simple sensory details of the ocean, the rhythmic sound of the waves and seagulls, the soft sand under your feet, and the weightless feeling of floating in the warm salt water. Because the beach is where we first met, (and married) it will always be the heart of our story. Spending sunny days at the beach with la familia is where we feel the most connected and grounded.

This song captures the sweet, happy rituals of our beach days and the anticipation of getting there. It is a playful nod to our preparation "strategy"—packing up the cooler, the fishing reels, and bringing Felix our Yorkie along for the day.
