KITCHEN SUNSHINE

Many a night I washed dishes with Mama

One day sister Mary was told to dry

INSPIRATION

Growing up, music was always flowing through our home. My mom taught my sister, cousin, and me to sing three-part harmony at a really young age. That was a pivotal moment in my childhood, creating a treasure chest of my very best memories: singing at the town fair, in churches across northern New York State and Ontario, at the Jock Hardy Arena in Kingston, and at outdoor festivals.

Writing, recording, and performing music was everything to me for more than half my life.

As the years go by, three-part harmony has come to mean so much more than just a blend of musical notes. It is the delicate balance of blending voices, opinions, and hearts. Staying in tune with family requires respect, love, and a whole lot of patience. Keeping family together can be hard work, but it is so worth it!
