We are a society that, while striving for a high standard and having a distinguished record of achievement, welcomes into its ranks all with an interest in art, whatever their ability or experience.

We are always happy to welcome new members. Membership at the present time is around 80, many of whom subscribe only or mainly for the right to exhibit at our shows. Two dozen or so members regularly attend weekly meetings. Membership fees are currently £28 a year but prospective members should feel free to come along for a few sessions before deciding whether to join. Students and young people are particularly welcome.
