Just would like to thank you for sharing your blackberry salad striped blanket. I have one question, I have just finished the blanket the correct amount of chains and it looks good, I went to put a edging on it, now one end is now longer than the other, as I have only started crocheting in the last two months thanks to YouTube and the net I'm not sure what to do, any advice would be much appreciated.

Other things - you can freeze blackberries in ice cubes for a nice accessory to the drink. The sugar syrup can be transferred to a metal mixing bowl set in a bowl of ice to cool it down quickly. Found this yesterday and made it today with 1/3 c maple syrup instead of sugar - I have no ice cream maker, so the sugar would come out grainy. I can't wait to try it tomorrow night with chocolate jimmies. As a kid, my fav dessert at Friendly's was blackberry ice cream with tons of jimmies on top. Now I've got my non dairy fix, thanks!

This was next level. A five star recipe. Easy to make. Doubled it and put in a 9x 13 pan. Made no changes because it is perfect. I have made at least a dozen different blackberry recipes when up in WA and this is my favorite. The chocolate is a great addition and I would recommend a scoop of vanilla vanilla to top it off.
