Camera and Photos: Used solely to capture or upload food images for AI-powered meal analysis and calorie estimation.
Nutrition and Health Inputs: Food logs, meal history, calorie goals, macronutrient targets, water intake, and user-entered dietary preferences.
Device and Usage Data: Basic technical details (operating system version, crash logs, and anonymized performance metrics) to diagnose errors and ensure smooth functionality.
2. How We Use Your Information
To analyze food images and provide accurate nutritional breakdowns.
To calculate and track daily calories, macronutrients, and hydration progress.
To improve app performance, stability, and user experience.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, health logs, or uploaded images to third parties.
3. Payment and Subscription Processing
When subscribing to premium features, payments are processed securely through certified payment gateways (e.g., BillDesk / Google Play Billing).
We do not collect, store, or process your sensitive financial data (such as full card numbers, CVV, or banking passwords) on our servers.
4. Data Security and Processing
All communications between the mobile app and our backend servers are encrypted using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols.
Uploaded food images are processed securely in real-time for nutrition analysis and are never used for public AI model training.
5. Data Retention Policy
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy:
Locally Stored Nutrition & Profile Data: Your meal history, daily calories, macronutrient records, water intake logs, and personal goals are stored locally on your device storage/database. This data is retained as long as you keep the app installed on your device.
Food Image Processing Data: Images uploaded for AI analysis are processed ephemerally in server memory to extract nutritional data and are not permanently retained or stored on our backend servers after processing is completed.
Diagnostic & Analytics Logs: Technical logs, crash reports, and performance analytics are retained for a maximum duration of 90 days to troubleshoot bugs and improve app reliability, after which they are automatically deleted or aggregated into non-identifiable statistics.
6. Data Deletion and User Rights
You retain complete control over your data:
In-App Meal Deletion: You can delete individual food logs, daily entries, or history items directly from the app interface at any time.
Local Storage Reset: You can permanently delete all locally stored data by clearing the app data/cache in your device settings or by uninstalling the application.
Account & Server Data Deletion Request: You have the right to request permanent deletion of any associated account records or diagnostic data from our systems. To submit a deletion request, email us directly at admin@zhatechstudio.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will process and confirm your request within 30 days.
