BiteNote does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
The current version of BiteNote works locally on the user's device. Meal entries, calorie goals, nutrition values, and related app settings are stored only on the device.
No Account
BiteNote does not require users to create an account or sign in.
No Analytics or Advertising
BiteNote does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking tools.
No Camera or AI Processing
The current version of BiteNote does not use camera-based recognition, artificial intelligence analysis, or remote servers for food analysis.
Local Storage
Any information entered by the user, including meal names, calories, portion sizes, protein, fat, carbohydrates, and calorie goals, remains stored locally on the user's device.
Data Sharing
BiteNote does not share user data with third parties.
Data Deletion
Users can delete their meal entries inside the app. Users may also delete all locally stored app data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app data in their device settings.
Children's Privacy
BiteNote is not directed to children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
