This policy explains how the Happy Birthday Images & Text app ("the App") handles information. The App is published by Karim Alilou.
What stays on your device
The App has no accounts and we run no servers that receive your content.
Names you add to cards: the name you type, and the cards you create, stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
Favorites and settings: these are stored only on your device.
Photos: the App asks for permission to add images to your Photos library, only so it can save cards you create. It does not read your photos or upload them.
Notifications: daily reminders are scheduled on your device. They do not use a server of ours.
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or payment details.
Advertising
The App shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google. To show and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect device identifiers, including the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow it; approximate location, based on your IP address; how you interact with ads and the App; advertising data, such as which ads you have seen; and crash and performance data.
We do not receive this information in a form that identifies you. Google handles it under its own policies:
How Google uses information from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Tracking and your choices
Tracking permission: on iPhone and iPad, the App asks for your permission before your advertising identifier can be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. You can change your answer at any time in your device's Settings, under Privacy & Security > Tracking. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant.
Consent in some regions: where the law requires it, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the App asks for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can review your choice in the App under Settings > Privacy Options.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to its use, or to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not hold personal information about you ourselves. For data collected for advertising, use the choices in section 3 or contact Google through the links in section 2.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
