Schedule Exact Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM)
Purpose: Ensure notifications arrive at the exact time you specified
Required: No (notifications may be delayed if denied)

Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED)
Purpose: Reschedule notifications after device restart
Required: No
Data Shared: None
All permissions are optional. The app functions with or without them.
Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not share any data with third parties. Period.
We do not use:
- Analytics services (no Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
- Advertising networks
- Social media integrations
- Crash reporting tools
- Cloud storage providers
Data Export and Portability
You can export all your data at any time:
1. Go to Settings → Export Data
2. A JSON file containing all your celebrations will be created
3. You can save this file, share it, or import it into another device
This export is entirely under your control and done locally.
Children's Privacy
Birthday Calendar does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any data at all, the app is safe for users of all ages. However, parental guidance is recommended for young children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by:
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Displaying a notice in the app (if significant changes occur)
Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Your Rights
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

- Deletion: Delete individual celebrations or uninstall the app to remove all data
