Mathematical methods for the studies of flow, shape, and dynamics
(流れ・形・ダイナミクス研究のための数理的手法)
The major mathematical difficulties of biofluid mechanics lie not only in the nonlinearity of the flow equations but also in analyzing the dynamics of shape changes. To find future directions of biofluid mechanics beyond these difficulties, it is necessary to develop new theoretical, computational, and data-driven methods of flow, shape, and dynamics. The workshop is held to have various lectures and discussions by researchers from a wide range of applied mathematics as the final part of the RIMS Research Project 'Biofluids2021'.
Date: Monday, 30th, August - Tuesday, 31st, August 2021
Venue: Hybrid (zoom + RIMS, Kyoto University) Online on Zoom
The workshop is held only online due to the situation of covid-19.
