Bington is a browser extension that plays a notification sound when an AI finishes its response. All processing occurs entirely within the user's browser on their local device.
Bington does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. Settings (selected sounds, volume, mute states) and uploaded MP3 files are stored locally using the browser's built-in storage API. The optional Google login is used solely for authentication to enable the custom sound upload feature. Only the email address is displayed in the extension popup – no other Google account data is accessed, stored, or shared.
No user data is sold, shared, or transferred to third parties.
