About
Hi, my name is Bingran Wang, I am currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at UC San Diego, working with Prof. John Hwang at the LSDO lab. Prior to this, I completed my Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering at the same lab at UC San Diego in 2024. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science with a major in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2019.

Featured Research
Accelerating model evaluations in uncertainty propagation on tensor grids using computational graph transformations
We proposed a computational graph transformation method, AMTC, to accelerate the tensor-grid evaluations involved in solving the UQ problems. This method has been used with the non-intrusive polynomial chaos method to efficiently solve a broad range of low-dimensional UQ problems involving multidisciplinary and multi-point systems.
