About the Summit
Google Research is hosting a first ever BINDI (Biases in NLP models and Data for the Indian Context) Summit on 9th and 10th Oct at Google Office in RMZ Infinity.
The event will bring together scholars working on cutting edge research on Responsible AI (RAI) for the Indian context, in particular, addressing the challenges in the emerging landscape of generative language and vision technologies.
There will be a series of talks from participants about recently published or ongoing work, as well as discussion sessions to identify major challenges and blockers, and solution pathways to address them. There is also going to be group sessions aimed at exploring potential collaborations on specific sub areas such as community engagement for RAI, multilingual RAI, and multimodal RAI, all with a focus on India.
