Role Description

This full-time, on-site role is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, for an Information Security Engineer. The Person will ensure the security and reliability of our network, systems, and applications. Responsibilities include system security monitoring, infrastructure project support, and supporting security compliance assessments such as PCI DSS. This role also involves performing server and network setup, maintenance, infrastructure monitoring, and conducting vulnerability assessments. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, monitor network traffic, and respond to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform system security monitoring.

• Support security compliance assessments (e.g., PCI DSS).

• Conduct server and network setup, maintenance, and infrastructure monitoring.

• Provide infrastructure project support.

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures.

• Monitor network traffic and perform vulnerability assessments.

• Respond to security incidents.

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.

• At least 2 years of technical working experience in IT, preferably with a focus on information security.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity, network security, information security, and application security.

• Familiarity with SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, TCP/IP networking, Windows Server, Tomcat, and Apache Web Servers.

• Experience in designing and implementing security measures.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Prior experience in the payment industry or financial services sector is a plus.
