This site represents a range of my interests over the last few years, in both techniques and concepts.

The large number of drawings reflect my belief that this discipline is not just a precursor to an ongoing project or painting, but an art form in its own right. I also consider life drawing to be more than just an academic exercise in measurement and observation. Drawing a live figure is a unique experience, in which the artist is both subject and object. This presents a complex challenge; how to combine technical skills with self expression, balancing 'what you see with how you see it'.

Some of the drawings/paintings are commissions or sold and many are experimental. Mediums used include oil and acrylic paints, pastels, ink and collage.

Prices range from £50 - £80 for drawings and £95 - £500 for paintings. Commissions on request.
