The bike is a complex organism– a whizzing, spinning, and ringing trapezoid controlled and powered by its rider. The habitat of concrete, asphalt, gravel, and dirt opposed by predators of gasoline digestion and exhaust respiration.
Join Liam R. Marchant and Ash Fershee for one night only at Moscow Contemporary as they investigate the sonic capabilities of the bicycle accompanied by guitar, flute, and electronics.
Liam and Ash have collaborated several times in the past in the ensemble Pumice Pocket. They premiered Liam's original score for The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center this last May.
