The Duke swim & dive team has volunteered and been involved with the Duke Children’s Hospital for years. Earlier this year, we were given a guided tour of the Hospital. As part of the tour we met the wonderful physicians and staff from Duke Children’s Hospital Pediatric & Congenital Heart Center. We both heard about and saw the great work they are doing at saving the lives of babies and kids who have heart problems. After having that experience, we all knew we wanted to do something to support the patients and the medical professionals who help them lead full productive lives. Who knows, we could be saving the life of a future Duke Swimmer or Diver.

We need your help too. So, we are launching the “Big Waves for Little Hearts” fundraiser. We’d like your support by making a pledge for every point the Swimming & Diving team earns in our meet against UNC on February 1^st and in the ACC’s later in February. You can make your pledge below at a designated pledge level, put in your own pledge amount, or make a one-time donation. For perspective, last year we earned a combined Men’s and Women’s 320.5 points against UNC; and a combined 1388 points in the ACC Tourney.
