If you want a fully functional audio headset for gaming on PlayStation, choose Bigben Nacon V3; if you need a durable organizer to keep your existing headphones safe and off your desk, choose Dealpoli Acrylic Desktop Headphone.
• Bigben Nacon V3: Delivers official PlayStation 5 and PS4 audio with Tempest 3D sound, but offers zero battery life since it is strictly wired.
• Dealpoli Acrylic Desktop Headphone: Provides a sleek, scratch-free home for any headphone model, but produces no sound itself as it is merely a stand.
• Best for: The V3 is the choice for players seeking immersive audio, while the Dealpoli unit is the pick for anyone needing a clutter-free workspace or a gift for a music lover.
The Bigben Nacon V3 is designed specifically for the serious gamer who wants to leverage the full power of their PlayStation console. This isn't just a generic pair of headphones; it carries an official license from Sony Interactive Entertainment, meaning it is engineered to integrate seamlessly with the PS5 and PS4 controllers. When you plug this into the 3.5mm jack on your controller, you are tapping directly into the console's proprietary Tempest 3D Audio technology. This feature is not a marketing gimmick; it is a critical component for anyone playing first-person shooters or open-world adventures where hearing footsteps from above or behind can be the difference between victory and defeat.
The physical design reflects its purpose as a tool for long gaming sessions. It features large, over-ear cups wrapped in soft faux leather cushions that help seal out ambient noise and keep your ears comfortable during marathon play. The headband is height-adjustable, ensuring a secure fit regardless of whether you have a larger frame or prefer a snugger fit. Weighing in at 250 grams, it feels substantial without being overly heavy, striking a balance that prevents neck strain. The microphone is positional, allowing you to pivot it away when you aren't talking, which is a nice touch for voice chat etiquette.
However, this headset demands a specific type of user. If you are looking for wireless freedom, this product will not work for you. It relies entirely on a wired connection via a 4-pin 3.5mm audio plug. While this cable ensures zero latency—a massive plus for competitive gaming—it also means your movement is tethered to your console or PC. Furthermore, the controls are basic; you get volume adjustment and a mute button inline on the cable, but there are no advanced digital settings or app integrations. If you need a headset that doubles as a high-fidelity music player for casual listening on a bus or train, the lack of Bluetooth and the bulky wired nature make it a poor fit. It is strictly a gaming peripheral.
In stark contrast to the audio-focused Bigben Nacon V3, the Dealpoli Acrylic Desktop Headphone Holder serves a completely different, yet equally vital, role in a modern setup. This is not a piece of audio equipment; it is a piece of furniture designed to protect your gear and organize your space. Crafted from premium, thickened acrylic, this stand offers a crystal-clear, polished finish that adds a touch of modern elegance to any desk, nightstand, or TV cabinet. Its primary function is to solve the universal problem of where to put your headphones when they aren't in use, keeping them off the floor where they can get stepped on or tangled with cables.

The build quality is robust, utilizing a non-slip pad on the base to prevent the unit from sliding across your surface while simultaneously protecting your wood or laminate from scratches. The dimensions are generous, with a length of 12.4 inches and a U-shaped hanger that accommodates almost any style of headphone, from compact children's models to massive over-ear gaming rigs. The transparent round bar is notably longer than many competitors on the market, offering extra clearance for larger ear cups. Whether you are a professional in a recording studio, a student organizing their gear for online classes, or a gamer switching between titles, this stand keeps your device accessible and dust-free.
This product is ideal for someone who already owns a great set of headphones and simply needs a place to store them. It is particularly useful for families where multiple people share a space; the clear design makes it easy for kids to see exactly where their glasses or headphones belong, promoting better organization habits. The installation is straightforward, requiring only two screws to assemble the detachable parts, making it a hassle-free addition to any room. However, it has limitations regarding what it can hold. While it fits most "over-ear" styles, extremely wide or uniquely shaped headphones might struggle with the specific curvature of the hanger. It is purely a storage solution, so do not expect it to amplify sound or provide comfort.
• Best for immersive gaming audio → Bigben Nacon V3 (Official PS5/PS4 licensing and 40mm drivers).
• Best for desk organization → Dealpoli Acrylic Desktop Headphone (Clear view and non-slip base).
• Best for travel portability → Neither; the V3 is wired and bulky, while the Dealpoli is a stationary stand.
• Best for durability → Dealpoli Acrylic Desktop Headphone (Thickened acrylic resists deformation better than plastic ear cups).
• Best for low-latency performance → Bigben Nacon V3 (Wired connection eliminates wireless lag).
• Best for gift-giving → Dealpoli Acrylic Desktop Headphone (Serves as a stylish accessory for gamers and music lovers alike).
• Best for mixed-device users → Bigben Nacon V3 (Works with PC, Mac, Xbox, Switch, and mobile via 3.5mm jack).
• Best for preventing scratches → Dealpoli Acrylic Desktop Headphone (Protects both your desktop and your headphones).
When you consider the core intent of these products, the distinction becomes even clearer. One is an input/output device, and the other is a storage device. If you are building a new gaming rig and realize you lack the necessary audio hardware, the Bigben Nacon V3 fills that gap immediately. If you already have a headset gathering dust on a pile of papers, the Dealpoli unit provides the dignity and safety it deserves. There is no overlap in functionality; they solve two entirely different problems.
It is worth noting the material differences. The V3 uses faux leather and plastic, materials chosen for comfort and cost-effectiveness in a consumer electronic. The Dealpoli stand uses solid acrylic, a material chosen for clarity and structural integrity. If you are concerned about the longevity of your gear, the Dealpoli stand offers a safer environment than leaving your headphones exposed on a desk edge. Conversely, if you care about the fidelity of the sound you hear, the V3's 40mm mid-range drivers and 32-ohm impedance are the only factors that matter here.
For those searching for a best headset for swimming, neither of these products is suitable. Swimming requires waterproof electronics and specialized designs like bone conduction or waterproof clips. The V3 is wired and electronic, and the Dealpoli stand is a stationary object. Similarly, while the Dealpoli description mentions it can hold "children headphones," it does not imply these headphones are water-resistant. If you are looking for kids headphones for swimming, you must seek out a dedicated waterproof model with IPX7 ratings, not a standard gaming headset or a desk stand. The same applies to anyone considering headband headphones for swimming; those require specific buoyancy and sealing technologies that neither of these items possesses. These products are strictly for land-based gaming and organization.
I would buy the Bigben Nacon V3 if my goal was to upgrade my current gaming experience on a PlayStation console, as the official integration and audio quality are unmatched for the price point. However, I would recommend the Dealpoli Acrylic Desktop Headphone if I wanted to stop losing track of my gear or keep my workspace looking pristine. In my opinion, the Dealpoli unit is the more universally useful purchase because almost every headphone owner struggles with storage, whereas only PlayStation gamers need this specific headset. Both serve their purposes well, but they are not interchangeable.
