For many years I thought a bidet was a gimmick. My wife had mentioned she thought a bidet would worthwhile. After looking online I purchased 2 of the FreshSpa Easy bidet units by Brondell. They arrived quickly and I installed as soon as they arrived. Very quick clear and easy installation instructions. They only "catch" I ran into was our toilet seat bolts were just long enough for the seat so adding the bidet height made them too short to use. I had longer bolts in my miscellaneous nuts and bolts drawer which worked out well.

The first test run made believers of bidets in both of us! The clean fresh feeling like just after a shower was amazing. Now I will have to put these in our other 2 bathrooms! I am completely convinced of their efficiency and it will cut down on toilet paper usage. Our units only have 1 attachment to the cold water valve but the water temperature is not a shocking cold felling as you might expect. More like when you chew a piece of peppermint gum and feel the freshness.

This little old lady installed it myself. Not challenging. Very clear instructions. The only hard part was getting the seat on top of the bidet, by myself.

Funny part was when I turned the water on to see if the plunbing leaked, and I started getting wet. Yep, the bidet was turned on, and though the lid was closed, a tiny spray was hitting me.

So check that setting, you know? This is a nice, basic bidet. No electricity. No hot water. Truly, the cool water doesn't make you squeal or anything. It's refreshing.

If you haven't used a bidet, allow yourself a learning time. You'll get the hang of it, and you'll miss it when you don't have access to one.

I am 61 years old and couldn't get anyone to help me with this so I tackled it myself. I knew I could do it, eventually. The problem for me was that I already had a lovely electrical Brondell Swash 400 from 9 years ago and I wore that baby out. So first I had to remove the old bidet, which was the whole toilet seat, disconnect the tee connector which was hard with only one wrench and a screwdriver, go buy a normal toilet seat. But I did it after about an hour of body contortion and sweat. Now for the new bidet. Maybe my age was a factor, my lack of proper tools but it took another hour and a half. Hallelujah! It's seated nicely on my commode all hooked up. Its done and it works. What power! And without electric! Who knew! I love it and I can't thank Brondell enough for years of refreshing cleansing. When all else fails at least you know you can be sqeaky clean where it matters.
