Challenges in building Billion User Cloud Applications

The summer school will teach you about the challenges of building billion user systems and present approaches for addressing those challenges

Format

The class is structured as a 5-days intensive summer course. Each day, there will be a lecture in the morning followed by a discussion in the afternoon. In addition, students will participate in group exercises doing designs, critiquing papers, and writing code.

Prerequisites

Each student should bring a computer; any kind (Chromebook, Mac, Windows, etc.) will do.
