Our research team works at the University of Pécs (Institute of Psychology). The main focus of research is the cognitive and emotional process behind the everyday interactions in real and online world. We explore the entire process of complex social-emotional interactions from person perception to the online toxic behaviors. We investigate how this process is affected by age, presence of important others (family or peers), and various disorders or disabilities. Our aim is not only to get a deeper understanding of human interactions in the new digital age but also to provide tools for prevention and intervetion to manage the consequences of the problematic usage of digital media.
