My research examines the impact of disruptive technologies on law, with a focus on decentralized organizations/DAOs, governance systems, financial regulation, business law and international arbitration. Additionally, I explore the legal philosophical implications of emerging technologies and their influence on the legal system.

I am currently a senior fellow at the Wharton Blockchain and Digital Asset Project (BDAP). Previously, I was the inaugural research fellow at Wharton BDAP, a Swiss Government Excellence Scholar and received a Ph.D. in law from the University of St. Gallen. During my doctoral studies, I visited the University of Oxford, ETH Zurich, and Stockholm University. I hold a J.D. equivalent from the University of Vienna, a Certificate in Transnational Law from the University of Geneva and an LL.M. in international commercial arbitration law from Stockholm University.

My research has been honored by, for example, the UBRI Visionary Award, the Dr. Maria Schaumayer Stiftung Förderpreis - Promotional award for my doctoral dissertation, the University of St. Gallen's Law & Digitization Initiative Grant, the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship, the Young Arbitrators Sweden Award (YAS Uppsatspris) for Best Master’s Thesis in Arbitration, and the Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law Prize (SCCL Priset) for Best Master’s Thesis at Swedish Universities.
