11/17/2016 - Torbick participates in Bedford High School Challenge Day (Item P)

2/10/2017 - Torbick arrested for “aggravated felonious sexual assault” in Rockingham County as reported by WMUR(1)

2/10/2017 - Chip McGee sent an email to Bedford parents and staff informing them of Torbick's arrest (Item A)

3/16/2017 - Torbick plead not guilty to aggravated felonious sexual assault(2)

4/17/2017 - Bill Hagen receives email from Torbick thanking him for his letter of support and providing address of lawyer at the time, Donna Brown (Item Q)

4/27/2017 - Zanna Blaney emailed a Word document of her character witness statement dated 4/26/2017 to Kristie Torbick's lawyer (Item B)

5/18/2017 - Torbick indicted for 2 counts of felonious sexual assault and 2 counts of sexual assault in Rockingham county(3)

7/26/2017 - Details of Torbick’s sexual offenses made public as new charges were added in Strafford County -- one of aggravated felonious sexual assault and two of felonious sexual assault -- bringing the total number of charges to 7.(4)

2/20/2018 - Torbick’s attorney attempted to reduce the number of charges against her by arguing that her professional role was not to provide therapy to her students(5)

6/26/2018 - Zanna Blaney's character witness statement provided to Torbick's defense. "It is my pleasure to write this letter in support of Kristie Torbick's character." This letter is nearly (if not completely) identical to the letter dated 4/26/2017. (Item C)

6/27/2018 - Alison Mattson's character witness statement provided to Torbick's defense (Item D)

6/27/2018 - Christine Mulcahey's character witness statement provided to Torbick's defense, which concluded, "[Torbick] is one of the best people I know." (Item E)

6/28/2018 - Blaney emailed a Word document of her character witness statement dated 6/26/2018 to Kristie Torbick with the message, "Thoughts?" (Item F)

6/29/2018 - Blaney emailed an invitation to Kristie's attorney at Sisti Law Offices to edit her character witness statement in Google Docs (Item G)

6/29/2018 - Blaney sent an invitation to Kristie Torbick's hotmail account to edit her character witness statement in Google Docs. She added the message, "Sorry I sent this to your gmail yesterday!" (Item H)

7/3/2018 - Several news outlets reported that Torbick will change her plea to guilty of 4 counts of felonious sexual assault(6)

7/5/2018 - The letters were submitted to the court as part of Sentencing Memorandum filed by Torbick's attorney, 1 day before Zanna Blaney sought permission from Chip McGee. (Page 2, Point 6 of Item O)

7/6/2018 - Zanna Blaney text messaged Chip McGee to discuss her upcoming statement at Torbick's hearing (Item I)

7/9/2018 - Torbick sentenced to 30 months (of a possible 5-10 years requested by the prosecutor)(7)

7/9/2018 - 5:30 pm - Zanna Blaney emailed the statement she read at the hearing earlier that day to Chip McGee as an editable Google Doc. It included, emphasis hers, “School Counselors are not therapists,” referring to Torbick’s attempt in February to reduce her charges from aggravated sexual assault to sexual assault. (Item J)

7/10/2018 - Reports surfaced that Bedford school counselors spoke on behalf of Torbick in “glowing terms” at Torbick’s sentencing hearing(8)

7/10/2018 - Blaney provided a statement about her hearing testimony to McGee and Bill Hagen (Item K), which McGee later used almost verbatim in his email to the Bedford community (Item M). It includes, "At the hearing, the Bedford School District was asked to speak strictly about the professional conduct and the professional evaluations of Ms Torbick(9) during her tenure at Bedford High School. Prior to the hearing, like the general public, Bedford School District was not privy to any information or details about the misconduct during her time at Exeter High School."

7/10/2018 - Zanna Blaney text messaged Chip McGee about the pending Union Leader article on Torbick's show of support. She says, in part, "I feel really unsettled that the statement [explaining her character witness remarks] can't go out ahead of the article." (Item I)

7/11/2018 - Bedford parents expressed “outrage” that a BHS dean of students lobbied for Torbick’s lenient sentencing(10)

7/11/2018 - McGee emailed the Bedford School Board saying "Several weeks ago, the attorney for Kristi Torbick...asked Zanna Blaney to attend the sentencing hearing to share information about Kristi's performance while working at Bedford High School. Zanna agonized about the right response." (Item L)

7/14/2018 - Chip McGee sent an email to the community stating, "we have a responsibility as a public school system to provide information to those who are entitled to it. We decided that we would share information only from the point of view of a supervisor and only using the actual written evaluations..... At the hearing, we were surprised and upset by the additional and disturbing details shared about the former employee’s behavior. However, our staff was already there and the attorney proceeded to have her share her statement." (Item M)

7/21/2018 - Bedford School Board announces an investigation into BHS counselors' character witness testimony. Chip McGee is interviewed for the Union Leader article, which says "[McGee] also reiterated that he and Blaney knew what crimes Torbick was charged with, and later pleaded guilty to, but did not know the details until the sentencing hearing."(11)

7/23/2018 - The Union Leader published excerpts of the 23 letters written in “glowing” support of Kristie Torbick for her sentencing hearing.(12) Many blame the victim for this situation, and cast Kristie as a “treasure” who should not be incarcerated for her crimes.

7/24/2018 - Janette Mooney spoke to Pat Conway, Rockingham County Attorney, and confirmed that there were no subpoenas or requirements from the court or the state for anyone to appear at Torbick's hearing. Any request would have come from Torbick's defense attorney (or Torbick herself); to date, no subpoena has been disclosed by the school district in response to multiple FOIA requests. There is no evidence that any participation in Torbick’s defense was required of Bedford School District personnel.

8/1/2018 - Plymouth State University’s president says an employee who publicly supported a guidance counselor who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old won’t be rehired.(13)

8/2/2018 - 24 days following the appearance of BHS Dean of Students, Zanna Blaney, as a character witness for Kristie Torbick, BHS Principal Bill Hagen sends email to BHS parents stating he is asking Interim Superintendent Mike Fournier for an independent investigation. (Item N)

8/17/2018 - Bill Hagen receives letter from Torbick's lawyer, Mark Sisti, stating that his firm did not receive any correspondence from him regarding the Torbick litigation. (Item R)
